I was looking for a little food processor specifically to make baby food. We originally bought a 6-cup processor that turned out to be way too big. This little machine is the perfect size and is surprisingly powerful. I read the other reviews and knew that it was going to be good, but I didn't know that it was going to be this good! This tiny appliance has exceeded all of my expectations. I made chicken and broccoli today for our baby girl (see link below) and she loved it!

This is the size exactly I wanted. I live alone, and cook quite little; I usually need some chopping for small food. It's enough. I love the design. Also Very handy.
However, it's quite noisy, so I felt uncomfortable to continuously operate it more than 5 seconds. Nonetheless, functionally still enough for small food processing!!

I've recently purchased this item and used it once. It was great making salsa and a lot smaller and easier to clean than a full-size food processor. Also, takes up a lot less room in the cabinet.

4 stars because...Where is the brushed chrome? As mentioned by another poster, the exterior resembles cheap plastic, and certainly does not live up to the Cuisinart quality one might expect. I really expected a lovely brushed chrome finish and that is my ONLY complaint. i wonder if this size will be available in a brushed stainless steel finish in the future, which would be a stunner. We will be keeping this as every other chopper out there is either too large or too small. Our previous chopper was a 1 1/2 cup Black and Decker chopper which lasted us a good 13 yrs; and yes we did require a bigger and better one. Will keep you posted ..

I bought this mini food processor, as I wanted a small mini that I could leave on the counter to match my other stainless/chrome/silver and black Cuisinart products. This mini works fine; however, I am very disappointed that the alleged chrome finish is actually cheap plastic and looks like it is cheap plastic. I would have preferred to have paid a little more and had a nice looking unit too.
